Dream On, 2022 | oil on linen | 42 x 72 inches | INQUIRE
Once, Route 66 hummed with anticipation -
the bright promise of the American Dream.
Today gas stations lay like ruins beside a fractured highway.
We dream of a better world,
and Martin Luther King still marches on the screen.

STATEMENT OF WORK
I depict difficult and sometimes controversial subjects in my work, from suicide to environmental destruction. This exhibition is no exception as it explores fear and hatred of what we do not understand, the loss of things and people we love, and the quiet death of our environment.
