Hollow River Colcha, 2022

This work is made from CNC cut aluminum plate and inspired by a significant arroyo flowing off the Pecos Wilderness into Tesuque. The piece links ecology with humans by overlaying this abstracted alluvial flow with Indo-Hispanic embroidery (colcha). This work can be displayed either inside or outside.
