Dos Hermanitas, Dos Árboles (two little sisters, two trees), 2022

This wall sculpture is fabricated using hundreds of punched steel bi product left over from a New Mexico fabrication company that constructed Arizona casinos. The material symbolism is important, but my intentions are to reference the importance of New Mexico’s forest while pointing to the strength of sisterhood in ensuring survival. This work can be displayed either inside or outside.
